Light Before Christmas IMAX update

I just found out today that The Light Before Christmas has a website, with info and theater locations.
For those who don't know, I was one of the animators. I was also privileged to write and direct the featurette, which plays after the movie.

Website Idea

Today I had a great idea for a website.

I was driving around town, looking to buy a new Christmas tree stand. Wal-mart was out; Lowe's was out; Home Depot was a no-go...
And that's when I thought...
Wouldn't be great if there was a website, where I could type in an item and my zip code, and have a list of all the local stores that carry that item!
What a good idea. I think I would call it... shoplocal.com
And then I got home, and guess what happened...
Yup, it already exists and does exactly that.

The only problem is that it doesn't tell you if the items are in stock, so you still have to call around.

New Insurance Benefits

My wife's work just changed insurance benefits, so they gave everyone a folder containing lots of paperwork. Below is a picture of the folder, which I scanned. She brought it home to show me.

She hands me the folder and says "Do you notice anything strange in this picture?"
I pick it up and begin thinking Oh look, happy insurance peop- "AAAHHH!!"



I hope the new insurance benefits cover "Man Hands."

And another thing...
"I like what you've done with the cover so far, Jim. But you know what it really needs... a pair of binoculars."
