Watched Lars and the Real Girl this evening. Really liked it a lot. I loved the writing. It was subtle and had some amazing compassion and kindness. That's what I like.

This movie! lol Brooks and I checked it out from our library a couple months ago... Brooks almost turned it off! I liked it though, in a "try to wrap your mind around this" sort of way. I liked the deeper meaning of it - funny and touching, all at the same time. And, I thought Ryan did a great job - very different character than The Notebook (which I LOVE.) Some actors (Matthew McWhatever) seem to be the same "character" no matter what character they're playing. Well done, Mr. Gosling.
